Questions patients ask

Frequently asked questions

If your question is not here, send a message and the practice will reply within one working day.

Do I need a GP referral?

Self-pay patients can usually enquire directly. Insured patients should check their policy, referral requirements and authorisation before booking.

A first consultation allows time to go through your story, any previous results and your questions. The practice will confirm the length when your appointment is booked.

A list of your current medicines, any previous heart test results or letters, and a short note of your symptoms — when they happen and what helps. If you are insured, have your insurer name and authorisation number ready.

Yes, with your permission. After your consultation you receive a clear written summary, and a copy can be sent to your GP so everyone involved in your care has the same plan.
